The Threaded Collective

We are so happy to share with you all that we have been lucky enough to be awarded funding from Arts Council England and their National Lottery Project Grant, to develop new work and work on our creative practice to be more accessible to the D/deaf community!

We embarked on our Research and Development week, and a day in the studio as part of this project, to establish The Threaded Collective, a project based ensemble which will creative and devise new work, with Threaded at its core. For this project, Threaded has become a Quintet, working with brilliant musicians Tom Chapman and Joshua Goodey, and developing new repertoire, which we will go onto making as D/deaf accessible as we can, with the aim to tour the show to Festivals and Venues.

See The Threaded Collective page at the top for more details!!

New Project: Soonchild!

Hi all!

We have been super busy recently with a new project and we can now share it with you all! We have been commissioned by Red Earth Theatre to compose the score and work with them on their upcoming production of Soonchild which will tour nationally in 2019!! We have also been awarded funding by the Arts Council to research into how to make the music we compose accessible to the deaf community, which is very exciting, so we have lots of work ahead of us! Can't wait to share all our work and findings with you all! We will still be Threadeding in our usual capacity alongside this though, so will hopefully catch lots of you at a gig soon :) xxx
